Qualifications:

Dr. Soham Kadam is a specialist in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology with over 7 years of experience. He completed his MBBS from Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College in Pune, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine. He then pursued a 2-year Fellowship in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology from P.D. Hinduja Hospital & MRC in Mumbai.

Clinical Expertise:

Dr. Kadam has expertise in diagnosing and managing various rheumatologic conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, vasculitis, etc. He provides comprehensive care to his patients including pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. His calm demeanour and patient-centric approach enable him to develop great rapport with his patients.

Diagnosing and managing rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, vasculitis, and other autoimmune disorders

Providing personalised treatment plans utilising pharmacological therapy, lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, and alternative medicine

Performing arthrocentesis, joint injections, and other interventional techniques to treat inflammatory arthritis

Interpreting lab results and diagnostic imaging like X-rays, MRI scans, ultrasounds to assess disease progression

Monitoring patients closely and modifying treatment plans as needed to achieve remission or low disease activity

Educating and counselling patients on medications, exercise, diet, joint protection techniques, and self-management

Collaborating with other specialists like orthopaedic surgeons, dermatologists, cardiologists to provide coordinated care
