- Dr. Himesh Gandhi is a Director of Robotic Surgery at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.
- He is practising as a Consultant Uro-oncologist, Robotic Uro-oncosurgeon and Kidney transplant surgeon.
- He is proctor and mentor of Da Vinci Intuitive SURGICALS , USA a very few available in India.
- He is also Key Opinion Leader for Karl Storz Company, Germany.
- He did his robotic surgery training from TAN TOCK SENG Hospital ,Singapore and was certified by Singapore Medical Council.
- He did his M.Ch. Urology training from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences , Kochi, Kerala.
- He has received Best Paper International Award in 2015 for his research work on Kidney cancer in American Urological Association (AUA) , New Orleans, 2015 while he was doing his M.Ch. Urology.
- He was also was selected for international travelling fellowship by Urological society of India (USI) to attend Urology Resident Course, Singapore in 2014 to represent India.
- He is an active member of Robotic Surgeons Council of India (RSCI)., American Urological Association, Singapore Urological Association(AUA), European Association of Urology (EAU) , Société Internationale Urology(SIU).
- His field of specialty is Uro-oncology and has performed more than 500 robotic surgeries related to prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancers and also many complex reconstructive surgeries after starting the department of Robotic surgery in Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune in 2017.
- He is also actively involved in both live and cadaveric renal transplantation with special expertise in Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomies.
- Under his able leadership Robotic kidney transplantation was started for first time in city of pune in Ruby hall clinic.
- Under is able leadership Ruby hall clinic has installed Modulith FLX-2 Connect Urological work station , First in India and Second in Asia for complete solution for urological and non- urological stone managements
- He also has a vast expertise in Thulium Laser Prostatectomies.
